Mattituck Lions Club World Strawberry Shortcake Eating Championship

Last Father's Day history was made when Pat Bertoletti ate 15.25 lbs of strawberry shortcake in eight minutes. Another ground-breaking event in the world of competitive eating occurred when Tim "Eater X" Janus competed alongside his father, Peter "Peter X" Janus. This year, it is rumored that the senior Bertoletti might also be coaxed into a paternal rivalry the likes of which has never been seen.

The Mattituck Lions Club and Capitol One Bank will present the 54th annual Strawberry Festival & Country Fair June 13-15th 2008, at Strawberry Fields Fair Grounds in Mattituck, NY.
