For the past three years, Joey Chestnut has dominated the Northwest in the rib discipline. This year, a dynamic duo will attempt to dethrone the king of pork. Cameron and Andrew McKirdy of Eugene, Oregon intend to represent their home state with pride, determination, and ravenous hunger.
The Smokin' at the Ocean BBQ and Brewfest is a favorite among many gurgitators, including Rich the Locust LeFevre and Erik the Red Denmark, so the McKirdy brothers will certainly have their work cut out for them.
