On Saturday, May 21, champion eater Joey Chestnut showed the world again why he's the best there is after eating 23 Philly CheeseSteaks at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom to set a new world record and win the World CheeseSteak Eating Championship.
The win was the second in as many years for Chestnut as the Philly-area amusement park played host to many of the world's top Major League Eaters. Royersford resident Bob "Notorious B.O.B." Shoudt had high hopes for upsetting Chestnut on his home state's turf, but in the end he could muster 19 sandwiches to take second place for the second straight year.
Center Stage at Dorney park has quickly turned into one of the season's most sought after contest locations with the country's best flying and driving in to experience the thrill of competing in the World CheeseSteak Eating Championship!
