The GoldenPalace.net World Grilled Cheese Eating Championship circuit continued on Oct. 10 at the Southern California Fair in Perris, CA.

‘Jalapeno’ Jed Donahue added another impressive accomplishment to his competitive eating resume by devouring 20 ½ grilled cheese sandwiches in 10 minutes to win the qualifier.

Donahue won $1,000 and earns a spot in the GoldenPalace.net World Grilled Cheese Eating Championship, where $20,000 in prize money will be on the line. Finishing second and winning $500 was Justin Mitt with 14 grilled cheese sandwiches, while finishing third and winning $250 was Anthony Caldera with 13.
